Mona’s design comes from the MIMA I Minimal Masters Collection – old masters in a new look. Nice to know: Modern Mona also has a brother, MIMA Vincent. The puzzles are made from sustainable wood, leftover pieces of perspex, and lovingly crafted by the makers of Stichting CRE8 | Amsterdam.
ABOUT MIMA x CRE8 AMSTERDAM
While Stichting CRE8, as a social enterprise, helps young people move closer to the labor market, MIMA—despite Noortje’s illness (ME)—aims to bring art closer to people. The minimalist designs from the collection – Old masters in a new look – are perfectly suited to the laser techniques used in CRE8’s workshop.
It therefore felt only natural to join forces.
This collaboration resulted in colorful art puzzles made primarily from leftover perspex (from other CRE8 products) and sustainable wood. By purchasing one of the Art-with-an-Impact puzzles, you help make the world a little more beautiful in a social, sustainable, and aesthetic way.

Waar de stichting CRE8, als maatschappelijke onderneming jongeren dichter bij de arbeidsmarkt brengt. Probeert MIMA, ondanks Noortjes ziekte (ME), kunst juist dichterbij de mensen te brengen. De minimalistische designs uit de Collectie - Oude meesters in een nieuw jasje- lenen zich perfect voor de lasertechnieken, die ze gebruiken in de werkplaats van CRE8.
Het voelde dan ook als vanzelfsprekend om onze krachten te bundelen.
Zo ontstonden kleurrijke Art puzzels gemaakt uit voornamelijk resten perspex (van andere CRE8 producten) en duurzaam hout. Met de aankoop van een van de Art -with an impact- puzzels maakt u de wereld op een sociale, duurzame en esthetische manier een beetje mooier.
